Corporate Social Responsibility

At SESIPL, we have made self-regulation that aims some contribution to the needs. It’s very important to create social impact to improve our communities.

We consider Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously. We not only practice ethical business but also contributes meaningfully to social causes.

We are honored to be associated with the Samarthanam Trust, an award winning NGO, serving the differently abled people.

The trust along with CABI (Cricket Association for the Blind in India) has created a platform for fostering the game of cricket among the visually impaired and helps them showcase their talents. The trust also supports the underprivileged, differently abled people by creating educational and employment opportunities for them.

As part of our CSR initiative, we have taken the responsibility to do the complete electrical works, both external and internal as well as the interiors for their newly constructed building.

Another such CSR initiative to note was during the first wave of Covid-19. We at SESIPL wanted to contribute for the society during the tough time & that is when we took note of the challenges faced by our Bangalore City Police. One such challenge that they were facing was not having the right lighting to perform their duty during the night at their check posts. We then took up the responsibility of setting up temporary UPS & Battery at all their Check Post to power the flood lights during the night to perform their duty at ease.

SESIPL was Presented with the “ CSR Times Award 2021 – In Skill Development Category”

 

Shankar Electricals Services (I) Pvt Ltd (SESIPL) focuses on creating Job opportunities to the ruralcandidates who complete their ITI / Diploma / Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical and other similar fields.

 

We have our talent recognition program conducted in rural parts of Karnataka to provide job opportunities bygiving them relevant class room and on the job trainings. We conduct campus placement at rural colleges to select candidates and invite them to our branch offices in Bangalore &Mangalore. After which we conduct an induction program& then we will be allocating them for Operations and Maintenance Projects in various locations, every candidate will be given a mentor who will be taking complete responsibility to train the candidates based on the requirement they have for the project.

 

SESIPL will be facilitating shelter, food for the candidates for minimum 3-6 month with minimum salary as well, once they complete their training they will be moved to different operations projects in various cities to build their career.

SESIPL can proudly say that in the last 2 decades, we have trained and created job opportunity for more than 25000 candidates, today we can see them in across cities and in other countries as well. 

 

We consider this as one of the most valuable service we are rendering to the society byhelping rural candidates with additional skill & experienceto get better job opportunity in the future.

 

SESIPL is continuously strive hard to create more and more job opportunity to light up in rural candidates along with we still finding what else we can do for supporting society and nation. We will definitely think beyond to see better for tomorrow.
